Here below are daily reports for a simple Buy & Hold strategy which uses well-known technical analysis concepts adjusted to personal preferences, in a live test account. (Test accounts are separate subaccounts which, if capital is lost, do not influence overall performance or the lifestyle of the fund owner). The %Gain column in the last report shows 43.76% over a period of exactly 12 months (Nov. 2012 - Nov. 2013), but the real figure is in fact 2-4 times that amount (87% - 175%) because of the way the trade was financed with multiple capital employed. The portfolio tracking software used to produce these reports does not have the feature of accurately calculating gains on additions to trading capital or their cost. Remarkable are three days marked with ^^^^ when more that EC$100,000 profit has been scored. |
